Picture Mounts Specifications

Your mounts are supplied with square cut outsides, not cheap bevel outer edges. This gives a far better presentation, and more durable handling.

We cut all our mounts from high quality British made Arquadia Acid free/Conservation board, or Slater Harrison Colourmount/conservation/acid free. Standard mounts are cut from Neutral pH board.

Standard boards have a creamy tint to the core, this means the bevel is a pale cream colour. Conservation and acid free mount boards have a pure core and a clean white bevel.

Conservation/acid free mounts are 1.4 or 1.5 microns thick (1.5 millimetres)

Standard boards are 1200 or 1250 microns thickness (1.2 to 1.25 millimetres thick)

Extra thick mounts are available in conservation grade boards, 2 millimetres thickness.

Black Core boards are 1250 to 1300 microns. Black core boards are not "conservation" standard, and are neutral pH.

Double mounts are all supplied ready assembled

Acid-free/conservation mounts are supplied with free fixing tape so you do not need to buy this as an extra

Double mounts are assembled for you prior to dispatch, so you don't have the hassle of sticking/assembling the two parts
