About us: In business since 1994, all our computer cut mounts (picture mats) are made in the UK at our own premises in Penzance, Cornwall and shipped daily all over Britain. Delivery Orders over £40 shipped by Fedex (highlands/Islands we use parcelforce 24/48). Under £40 we normally send by Royal Mail postal recorded/signed for delivery. We offer a friendly and helpful service to customers at our frame shop counter, or by phone, and have 1000s of satisfied customers throughout the UK. Money Back Promise We were the first to offer custom size picture mounts with prices calculated on-line with no minimum order, and have always offered a no-quibble money back promise on everything we make. If you are not totally satisfied with your order we will refund you right away, and also refund the P&P. Mount Cutting: Our main mount cutting machine is a Wizard 8500E-SBT CMC, which can cut all types of bevelled mount window shapes, multiple apertures, cigarette card arrays, names, letters and also cut art, accents and mount decoration, and our staff are highly experienced in picture framing and cutting mounts. The Wizard machine is made in the USA, and our 8500 SBT is one of only a handful in the UK. (SBT stands for Switchblade Technology, which is an innovation that allows us to very quickly change from bevel to straight cut for the outside edges) Unless otherwise stated, many of our newer competitors with cheaper machines will not be giving you straight cut outsides. |
Discounts: Our custom mount price calculator now gives discounts for quantity, even just 2 or more. Mount boards: We offer you a choice of conservation or standard mount board. Basically this refers to the boards being "Acid Free" or better quality with crisp white bevels that do not discolour, and which offer better protection for your picture, photo or print, or "Neutral pH" with a creamier coloured core and a lesser degree of long term protection. So you can easily decide on the right mount for your picture. Terms: You are fully covered by the distance selling regulations, plus you are fully covered by our online processors, PayPal. In addition to our money back if not happy guarantee, you can always ask for a replacement for any damaged or incorrect item (mistakes and accidents in transit can happen!).
